Support the Academy
The Razumovsky Artistic Director Oleg Kogan, for many years an admirer of the artistry of Ida Haendel, worked his special magic to persuade the great violinist to travel to London especially to give Master Classes to the Razumovsky Academy students and young artists on 8 and 9 December 2007.

A tremendous aura of excitement surrounded Miss Haendel’s visit, which included a surprise performance at the Wigmore Hall.

Following a thrilling weekend of music-making, the Academy is overjoyed to announce that Ida Haendel has accepted Oleg’s invitation to become a Patron of the Razumovsky Academy.

Miss Haendel commented: “I accept this invitation with great delight. I hope that we will be working together in the future and that everyone in London will join in. It’s a very important mission to support music and young talent. And such talent!”
